Aurico Kata Resort & Spa - Sha Extra Plus, Kata Beach (Phuket)

Overall, I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the pool area was fantastic and the beds were very comfortable, maintenance issues in the room and the slow internet left much to be desired. The breakfast was diverse and delicious, but the service at the pool bar could be better. While it's conveniently located, the facilities could use some improvement to match expectations.

Our stay had both highs and lows. The hotel has some excellent facilities and is clean and comfortable, but the lack of noise control made it difficult for us to rest properly. The location between Kata and Karon beaches is quite convenient, but the dining options could be improved, especially for those with dietary restrictions.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel, especially enjoying the pool access room which offered great privacy. The hotel staff were professional and very helpful, making my stay more enjoyable. However, the breakfast could use improvement with better coffee machines as they caused long lines. Additionally, I was quite put off by the rat situation near the pool area, which is unacceptable for a resort.

However, Wi-Fi was poor in some areas, and there was a need for better noise control from neighboring guests. The resort is conveniently located near the beach, shops, and restaurants, providing a peaceful atmosphere away from traffic. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but unfortunately, they're affected by unclean conditions and an ongoing rat problem. Breakfast offers a fair variety, though the coffee service needs improvement. There are some nice facilities, including pools, but the service and overall maintenance could be better.
